4. My favorite thing

My favorite thing is my volleyball shoes. He is the custom-made shoes. So, he is the only one volleyball shoes. It is 3 years ago that I saw him for the first time. When  I and my teammates  were in the first year of high school, we designed him and his friends. （His friends are my teammates' volleyball shoes.） I have been using him since then.


He always supports me when I play volleyball. For example, when my volleyball play is going badly, he says that do not mind and that go well next. And he protects my feet. So, I can not play volleyball without him.


Also he is the one of my comrades in arms because I and my teammate hava overcome a lot of diffecult games. So to speak, when I was in the second yaer of high school, we became the champion in the western prefctural tournament. I was very happy and grateful to my teammates, our teacher and my parents. Then, I had a feeling that my volleyball shoes said "Congratulations!" So, I thank him, too.


However, I have ever thought that he was changed to new shoes because he is very injured. In fact, my some teammates changed their shoes. Althogh I looked for new shoes which fit me again and again, I was able to do. Then, I regreted that I tried changing shoes. I knew that he was the fitest for me to play volleyball and that is still changed. I have nver used the same shoes for a long time and he is the longest time.


I have supported him to keep him good condition for a long time. For instance, I wash him. If he died, I would be very sad and cloud not play volleyball. I hope that I played volleyball with him forever.

3. WANDERERS

I watched the short film "Wanderers" in my English class. When I watched it, I felt mysterious and beautiful and did not the situation in the first time. there are a lot of mysterious points in the film, for example a thing that there is a spaceship on the Mars and that there is a human being on the Saturn and so on. For a short while, I was able to understand that the fiml is fictitious.Then, I was amazed at the film's creaters' imagination. I can not image universe like that.


We can see that humankind in the film have tremendous technology for instance spaceships, space elevator from the moon and so on. So, we can guess that the film is the future humankind. In 1961 humankind went to universe for the first time. The then spaceship pilot is Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin. When he went to universe and back to the earth, he said that the earth is blue. After that, humankind planed to go to the moon. The program is called "the Apollo program". However the program failed first 10th times. On the 11th time humankind managed to go to the moon. After that, although humankind successed 5th times, humankind have nvere been to the moon since the 17th Apollo program done. Now, NASA have one of the project that humankind go to the Mars. However the project have never successed. In Japan, noboby have been to the moon, but several people have been to International Space Station. Also, JAXA have ever launched a lot of satellites and the satellites is very useful to us. For example, HIMAWARI forcast weather and KAGUYA make an investidation into the moon.


Now, the space travel is becoming closer. I want to traevl space someday. However, it cost a lot of money to travel space. And the traveler have to train and spend a lot of times to do. I hope that the the cost will become lower in the future.


Also, a lot of people believe that creatures from outer space exact. I believe so, too. Although a lot of people have ever witnessed UFO and UMA, we have never discovered any evidences that aliens exact. So, a lot of people are enthusiastic to try to prove that aliens exact. NASA have tried to comunicate with aliens by satellite which is called "Voyager". Voyager is still messaging to unkown creatures from outer space. However, NASA has never received any answers.


As I saw the film "Wanderers", I thought universe again and again. I can understand universe a little.

FOOD

I am from Ibaraki. One of the most famous Ibaraki 's food is natto .  I like natto very mach. But, many people do not like it. Most of reason why they do not like it is its smell. Also, Some people who have never eaten it say that natto tastes and smells awful.

 Though there are a lot of people who hate natto, there are more people who like natto because natto is healthy. Natto is made from soy beans. So, it has a lot of protein. Therefor, natto was one of protein source in the Warring States period in Japan. In Edo period, nato was sold in the every morning in Kyoto and Edo. Aslo, during  the world war Ⅱ, it was military food and after the war, the Japanese ate it as energy source. So, natto spread all over the Japan.

Although nato is elected "the world bad-smelling food" , it is spreading all over the world gradually. There are people in Eroupe and United State who like natto and they have been increasing recently. In addition, as a lot of Japanese and Japanese-America live in Hawaii,  natto is made there. Also, there are foods like nato all over the world. For example, thua-nao, which is a food in the north of Thailand, tempeh, which is a food in Southeast Asia, and so on. These common point have been energy source.

 Natto has a lot of types. For instanse, Siokaranatto, Hikiwarinatto, Itohikinatto, which is the most popular natto, and so on. The consumption of natto in Japan depend on prefecture. Most is Fukusima and worst is Wakayama. Also, the consumption tends to be less in West-Japan. According to NTTnavispace, in Kinki, Shikoku and Tyugoku, people who is dislike natto is more in Japan. Especially in Nara, Shimane, Tokushima and Kouchi more half people dislike natto. That is amazing. So, I hope all Japanese like natto.

A list of 10 goals for my first year of university

1. speak English
I want to work in United State in the future.


2. make a lot of friends
I want friends who are different from my faculty because I am teached subjects which I am weak in by them.


3. work part-time
I want to earn my own living expenses.


4. study math and physics
Math and physics are very necessary for chemistry. So, I study math and physics to study chemistry.


5. get a driver's license
I want to go to tsukuba university from my parents'home.


6. go to concert
I like music very much. But, I have never been to any concerts.


7. improve PC skill
I want to improve PC skill becouse PC skill is very important for me.


8. read many books
I want to read books to learn a lot of knowledge about a varity of genre.


9. play volleyball
I  have played vollyball since I was junior high school student.


10. improve cooking skill
I live alone now. So, I want to cook my own meals to economize.
